A+MT offers three kinds of resources to artists & arts organisations:
A+MT helps artists and arts administrators to achieve their full creative and business potential with professional, artist-led training and development in Art Skills, Business and Financial Planning and Development, Presentation and Communication & Training Skills. We also hold monthly advice surgeries are held at our offices each month, offering informal careers advice and counselling.
A+MT works with arts organisations, and bodies employing arts professionals, to analyse, define and meet their professional requirements and the training needs of the people working within them.
For many arts organisations skills shortages in the technical, marketing, fund-raising, managerial and financial fields can bring real operational difficulties; in other, non-specialist, companies arts workers can be isolated and unable to access skills development training in-house.
We provide professional expertise in training, facilitation and advising Boards and staff; and in helping arts, and arts-related, organisations to meet their full potential.
With three partners, Coventry City Council's Business Arts Service, Coventry & Warwickshire Cooperative Development Agency and Warwickshire County Council, we have recently been awarded funds by the European Union to provide support for Cultural Industries companies and employees in the Objective 2 (Coventry and North Warwickshire) area. During the 5-year programme, we shall run courses, workshops, business advice sessions, cluster development and mentoring schemes.
